Hi Carolin -

Just poking around old projects that I have read for and happy to read Section 19 (Sydney Exposition) IF you can give me some guidance (or Nemo can too) on how to read the footnotes that appear in the middle of the poem :)

Do you want them read as I read the poem or in the middle as they are listed?

Hi Lynda!

That's great you are picking this up!

Here are my thoughts on what should be read besides the poem:

I would read "Part 1, Part 2, part 3, Part 4", but I would not read any of the italicized items (Chorus, Solo Alto, Solo Tenor, Solo Bass, etc.) This piece was written as a Cantata and meant to be sung by multiple voices .... these are like stage directions as they just direct who should be singing that section.

I'm sure if Carolin has other thoughts she will let us know.

Now, if you have a great singing voice and a very wide range and want to actually sing all the parts, now that would be way cool! :D :D :D :D

Thanks Nemo!

I actually looked at the wrong selection! I see now what I need to read and it does not have any footnotes... :)

Thanks Larry,

Section 6 is PL OK!

Section 26: Between 4:00 - 4:30, the following stanza had 3 or 4 mis-steps with repeated lines. Maybe you can edit out the slips, but it may be easier to just do that whole stanza over?

As dies a gentle April in a sky
Of faultless beauty—after many days
Of loveliness and grand tranquillity—
So passed your presence from our human gaze.

After this, we have just one section left that still needs recording (Chris's) to get this into the catalog!

Well, now you know how badly I read sometimes.
I was probably nodding off and missed those edits.

Anyway, here is the corrected reading:

Here's the Wamberal poem. Sorry for the lateness of the poem's submission.
