Hi Carolin .. a little PL help :D

Beth, sections 3 and 14 are PL OK! .... it was a real pleasure hearing your recordings of these in your soft voice and accent that matched the poems. I could really feel like I was there for each month! :)

Alan, your readings are very soulful and quite soothing. I do have some PL notes on sections 5, 21 and 24 ... in the intro, all we need is "[Poem title], by Henry Kendall, read for LibriVox.org" by [your name] ..... for all three of these you also read the section number, the book title and the long LVox disclaimer, which we don't need. I'll leave it to Carolin whether she would like you to fix these and upload again. If she does want you to fix, you would also need to adjust the ending outro to reflect this: At the end, say: "End of poem. This recording is in the public domain."

In addition, section 21 is low in volume at only 84 dbs and needs to be amplified. Also at a time of 9:15, the text is "Of fierce Gethsemanes had come to him" .... you say "geths-manes" ... this should be "geth-sem-uh-nees" and is referring to the garden in the bible where Jesus was betrayed.

Also in section 24: .... at a time of 2:01, the text is: "And makes a lute of limb and leaf" ..... you say "And makes a lute of lamb and leaf", which is quite a different thing. Also at a time of 7:16, the text is: Beyond this wild Gethsemane .... you say "geths-mane" ... this should be "geth-sem-uh-nee" --- same as above in section 21.

Sandra, section 8 is PL OK! .... that was a beautiful lyrical reading! :9:

Phil, sections 13 and 16 are PL OK! .... great readings .. very powerful!

Hi Alan,

Thank you for the fixes on sections 5, 21 and 24!

Very nicely done on the edits!

These three are now PL OK!

Just one note for future recordings, please watch the ending silence. We need about 5 seconds. On two of the above, it stretched out a bit .. one at 7 seconds and one at 9 seconds.

Thanks again!
Nemo

Carolin,

Since I will more than likely PL Larry's as well when they are posted and I've run through most of these, why don't you put me in as DPL for the project. :D

Alan,

Another very nice reading. I like the more lively tone you took with this one, it matched the poem well!

Just one note however, the intro and outro need to be adjusted. The same thing as your previous three sections.

Please make those adjustments and upload again and I'll do a spot check on it.

Thanks!
Nemo

I'll take 18, Frank Denz, if you've no objection.
