I would like to claim: 8. To the Spirit of Music
A friend, who knows a thing or two about Australian poetry, steered me towards this poem. So I will check it out.

Elizabby wrote: March 20th, 2018, 8:51 pm Hi, what do you want me to do about September?

In the middle of the poem there is no poem for September - just a note saying "see the poem in this other book called "September". I think reading that in the middle of the poem will be quite disruptive - shall I put it at the end or just leave it out altogether? I could read the whole September poem if you like - it's in this book, but it's very long...

EDIT: And I'll read Section 3 as well please.
I didnt see that when setting this up

Id prefer it if september was there, is that alright with you or is it too long then? If it becomes too long we have to split this into two sections.

Thank you!

Hi Carolin & Lynda!

Just stopped by to do a little "guest PL" while you are waiting for a DPL to step in. :D

Sections 4, 7, 17, 20, and 27 are all PL OK!

Lynda, it's been a while since I listened to your recordings. Nice job on these ..almost every one was word perfect.

Hi Carolin ... a little more "guest PL" for you :D

I would mark this PL OK. Just one small note for nighthawks for future reference:

In your intro, you started out by reading "number two". This is not needed for these shorter poetry collections. It's not that big of a deal for this one, but for future recordings, please just make sure you read the intro as outlined in the project instructions.

Other than that, a very nice reading. You have a soothing and expressive voice and you captured the feeling of this poem quite nicely!

I have a few spare minutes this evening, and feel in the mood for PLing some poetry. I'll snag those that are ready here, if that's alright?
