Hello Atalie (beautiful name :9: ) welcome to the project. Of course you can have both sections, thank you so much. Be careful there are two pages doubled in one of the chapters ;) I noted it in the MW. Both sections require the full LV disclaimer, you find all the details in the first post.

Have fun !

If these become available, I would like to claim them (or be next in line). :)

so sorry this has slipped the net, Jim. But I checked it now, and the title as it is is perfect now.

Still...there is another problem here:

> at 1:39: at the end of the recording, you leave almost 8 seconds of silence and then the title starts up again. :hmm: Could you only leave 5 seconds and delete everything after 1:44, please ?

Thanks :)

wow what a chapter on warfare strategies  I am amazed that they could stitch together ox-hides so that they would resemble elephants so much that the enemy would be fooled. It's a bit hard to believe LOL

On the whole, wonderfully read, April. Thank you. I only found one very small word which you mispronounced:

> at 2:48: (p. 496): “and having sent for shipwrights out of Phoenicia” – you say “Phoenix”, but it’s actually “Phoenicia”, (the town in Arizona wasn't founded yet at that time ;) ) I guess it would be pronounced “Phenishia” or some such :hmm:

The rest was perfect and very entertaining

thank you Kevin. I will give the reader another day to answer, but I'll keep you in mind if they get orphaned. You would like to do all 4 of them or just one or two ?

I'm glad you like the project. :) Rejoice, this is only the second part of the series. There will be plenty of books following this one :9:

Here are my first three sections. :D
excellent job in all three sections. I loved your narration of Dara :9: I read this poem myself for a JR Lowell project, but I think you did it better than me.
I also enjoyed the story of the turtle and peacock. I so feared it would have a bad ending and was totally relieved that it had a good moral.
Oh and thanks for giving the title of the painting entirely correct on the first go. 8-)

All three sections PL ok.
And I also recorded my DR role, as well!
great interpretation of the king :9: I had a hunch you would do this well. You gave him an adequate moodiness and longing, which he probably felt at this point in his life. Here however I found a small error (I think):

> at 5:22: (p. 107): “in token of its reunion with the spring” – even straining my ears I do not hear “spring” at the end. :help:

Actually all throughout this section, in some parts your recording has a tendency to fade off and the last words are barely audible. I guess I can manually make them louder later on when I edit, so no need to correct, but I don’t know what happened to provoke this. Any ideas ? :hmm:

Thanks so much, Tomas !
