There are two places where the text refers to figures. I think these are best omitted, but see what Amy says. (they are at: 15:57, 16:17)

I waffled on that too. In that entire section, those were the only two "see Figure X" references, with many other references (that I omitted) to part A, part B, etc., on the illustrations.

Let me know how you want this chapter to play out (with or without), since it needs to read like the rest of the chapters. They are easily stripped out.
