Carolin asked me to send this to Listeners Wanted, but I was sure how to do that so I sent it here. I hope that's OK. I just need someone to listen to this recording to see if it sounds OK, especially after the first paragraph of the story. I listened to it and is sounds like I'm a long way from the mic. Thank you.
Bitrate, volume and sample rate are at specs. The file is mono. The only recommendation I'd make is that at 43.85s there is a slight editing glitch (that can be removed with careful editing) and that after that point the average volume is about 1.5dB lower than before it. By highlighting a section you can use the amplification command to increase (or decrease) the volume of just the highlighted section. As dpl because both issues are quite minor I probably would not mention either and mark the recording PL OK. You are ready to start recording.

21
At the very beginning of the intro say "Chapter 21 of The Guest of Quesnay."
At the end of the intro give the author's name after the book title. [The Guest of Quesnay, by Booth Tarkington. Chapter #]
There is no need to repeat the book title in the outro at the end of the file.

00:16 Say "The Guest of Quesnay, by Booth Tarkington. Chapter 21" at the end of the intro. Just copy from the beginning of the intro and insert at 00:16.
