I would be interested in DPL-ing this (and also in reading sections 15 & 17).

Many thanks,

Philip

Philip is officially DPL now. Off to Readers Found. That was unbelievably quick!

Gill:

Section 5 is PL-Ok! I do have a suggestion for future recordings, however. There is a persistent hum in the background which is almost at the level of being distracting. I think a run through the noise reduction utility would clear is up.

Nicely read.

Many thanks,

Philip

I would concur with this, except that I actually do find this harsh background noise to be unacceptable. I've taken the liberty of doing the noise reduction, which took two passes.

I would suggest working on your recording set-up, trying to move your mike further from you computer (I think that is a fan noise). I find my USB mike sensitive enough that even moving it away and putting it in a homemade studio box, it still picks up the noise. So, I routinely run noise reduction on all of my recordings. It gives me a much cleaner sound So, see what you can do. LV has some good tutorials on this.

Thanks so much for reading for this project!

Section 6 (17:16)

I have assumed "Austin" is a misprint for "Austrian" but if this is not the case I can edit.
