Lynnet,
Sorry, but I have to back out of my section. I have a lot on my plate lately, so I don't think I'd be able to finish my chapter in a timely manner.
My apologies and best of luck with the project.

duration 26.13
I have just changed computers ! and encountered all sort of difficulties. so if there are any mistakes I apologise. Please let me know. I am not sure about noise levels etc. I thought all my old settings would come over but they have not and it has been a mess to say the least. !!

Tech specs and noise levels are fine! But the file is not the complete recording, it needs corrections and it stops around the middle of the chapter (duration 16:44). Maybe you accidentally uploaded a draft rather than the final recording?
Yes, changing computers can be really messy! I suspect my hard drive is about to die, and I'm dreading having to start over setting up my system on another hard drive...

Hi Jennifer! I'm sorry you're having difficulties. I think this is still an unedited file. I started taking PL notes, but then I thought it would be easier if you went through it yourself and edit as you go, or perhaps you have an edited version to upload.
Here are the notes I took before stopping:
Beginning silence can be cut down at around 1 sec.
A repeat that needs correction at around 1:14-1:21
A longish pause mid-sentence 2:58-3:03
6:15 correction for "and am nearly well again."
7:50 correction for "The pickets are now about a mile in advance"
8:07-8:16 long pause
8:35 correction for "I had also reported Governor Morton's visit"
