All PL OK!

That rose bush still exists, by the way.

Oh, and those crochet instructions did not look easy to read, seeing how they were almost all abbreviations.

Hi Nemo,

Only one note this time:

02:29: 'Ont daykumboa' is only written once, but you say it three times here.
Well, what the heck! :)

It appears, when I copied the text from Guttenberg, it copied the text under the illustration of little Ralphie as well ...sigh.

I'll fix tonight and send back .... thanks Jordan!

I notice Jill has said "Little Birdie may be sung or read as a poem.". If anyone does want to sing it, I have created two MIDI files from the sheet music provided to help.

https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/Little_Birdie.zip

There is one of the singing, and one of the piano accompaniment (if you want to upload it with the actual music, and not just the singing).

Also, there are no tempo markings, so I just chose something I though sounded right. Let me know if you think it's too fast or too slow, and I can create a new version.

Thanks Jordan, music creation is above and beyond the call of duty! That was generous! :9:

Thanks all for your ongoing contributions.

Glad you appreciate it!

I hope you don't mind, but I've added a link to the Magic Window, so that it's easier to find.

EDIT: Turns out Audacity doesn't support MIDI (well, technically it does, but you can't play them), which kind of negates the whole purpose of including it. As such, I've added a WAV of the piano track to the ZIP. I've also extended the voice MIDI to have all three repeats, not just two.

But when they reached the place, they found she was already buried—in the maws of sundry birds and beasts which had made their breakfast off her.
Well, that escalated quickly...

I am new to LibreVox, and I would like to start with something short. Could I do number nine here? And is it possible to read them before I volunteer?

Hello! Welcome to LibriVox!

Yes, of course you may read Section 9 for the project! We're glad to have you.

Before you record for this project it is strongly recommended that you complete a 1-minute test. This helps ensure that you have everything set up correctly and that your audio is at the correct levels which saves you from having to re-record files for projects like this one. Here is the wiki page on how to record, upload, and receive feedback on your 1-minute test:
http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test

Also, if you haven't already seen it, the Newbie Guide to Recording is a page you should read through:
http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Newbie_Guide_to_Recording.

As to your question about reading the material before you record, you may always view the text for the project by clicking the link in step 4 of the first post of a project:
4. Where do I find the text? Source text (please only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/28300
I have added you to the LibriVox catalog, you can see your catalog page at: https://librivox.org/reader/11613. You can also get to this by clicking on your name in the Magic Window (MW). This is a good place to look to keep track of recordings you've signed up for, to see section details click on the link to "Reader Section Details" which appears just a few lines down from your name. This page includes your forum name "Wanita" and can also contain your real name or a pseudonym, plus a web site/blog if you have one you would like to link to. Let me know if you would like to add a name and/or a web site.

Again, welcome to LibriVox and enjoy!
