chapter 7

Only half way through the reading and find a few repeated sentences so wonder, if perhaps Roohi has uploaded the original reading instead of an edited version??

have this so far:

1:40-ish, missing text
Text reads: dreams were delightful; but to dream alone
I hear: dreams were delightful

4:25, double text
“With a smile seraphic as an angel” .. *repeats*

7:17; double text
“And perhaps when Mrs. Monkton had hinted … in her mind”
*repeats* .. 2nd repeat is the correct one using odd instead of old

7:50-ish; double text
“on the ears of Dysart” .. *repeats*

8:05-ish, double text

Smiles back at him in that slow deductive way, repeats
Smiles back at him in that slow seductive way (2nd version is correct)

Hi Carolin -

Here is my last recording I signed up for -

22:10 - https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/aprilslady_26_hungerford_128kb.mp3

Can you please assign me the last 4 or 5 Open recordings in the book? I mind as well take them on saying I have recorded so much in the book already :)

Have a great day!

chapters 20 and 21 are PL OK, thanks Lynda

Chapter 22

introduction originally states chapter 22 but then states chapter 23

6:10
Do not go, he says abruptly.
repeats again, says he abruptly (2nd version matches text)

14:30
Surely, even through this denseness
(an audible stumble and repair, that was missed during editing)

16:59
Missed editing repair , Said Mr. Beauclerk ..
repeats, says mr. beauclerk (2nd version is correct)

Thanks Molly for the feedback - I changed the Chapter 22 at the start of the recording too as I realized they sounded like a plane funny enough which I was on when I tried to PL my work between Maui and Vancouver - not bad though 2 chapters passed and this one had feedback! There were 12 babies screaming on the plane which was making listening a challenge!

Here is the updated file - thanks again!
