OK, we have a Magic Window :)

You'll be the book coordinator for the project, which mainly means that you will put the recodings into the Magic Window (MW) and update it. Here are instructions for how to log into the MW for the first time:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BxWB83bbALTQYjlENGZ0SVJUWWs

You can enter the titles for each section (Act 1 etc), the duration of each recording in the "Notes" column, and the link to the recording in the URL link column :) (For more information on book coordinating: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kVj409nG_E0XJ5UrrcL7EVx7Qyx-2UQ7dbw4mINi3XQ).

Since you are recording and submitting this project as a group, it is ok that you don't all register individually. However, in addition to the general disclaimer, you'll have to make a dramatis personae/list or roles characters in the first section. This both to give your listeners an idea of who is who, but also to release all the individual parts into the public domain.

So the intro disclaimer for the first section should be like this:
"Part (or act) [#] of The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information or to volunteer, please visit LibriVox.org.
If you want to, you can say "Read by [the name of your club/group."
The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare.

Dramatis personae (or List of characters).
Role of [name] recorded into the public domain by [the reader's name. NB: if you want to use pseudonyms here, that is completely fine].
(all the roles/readers do this)

Start reading :D

For subsequent sections it is enough to read this disclaimer:
"Part (or act) [#] of The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information or to volunteer, please visit LibriVox.org.
If you want to, you can say "Read by [the name of your club/group."
The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare. Act [#]"

I'll edit this into the first post so it is easy to find for future reference.

In order to keep the Launch Pad tidy, I'm moving the project into the Readers Found forum in a couple of days :)

Good! As Tricia said, the volume is on the soft side -- it is ok where it is, just please don't let it get any lower. All the technical stuff is now correct. Happy recording, and please ask questions if something is not clear

I just listened to the whole recording, it sounds good! If you want to use this recording as part of the act when you record, you might have to take out the trumpet sound. While on one hand it would be ok with a trumpet fanfare (because it is in the play), it would have to be public domain -- which means that you would have to make it yourselves, and you would have to be able to show that the fanfare was made before 1923.

Welcome :) I think we need a DPL, yes. Thank you -- I'll get you access to the MW
