Section 17 I did some re takes on some words I tripped over (a number of words I have not heard in a long time even for an Englishman!) so let me know if the change in intonation at those points is obvious and need to be redone.
I am fully expecting some more notes/adjustments... however if these will work then If I could request section 19 to finish up the book?
Another excellent reading! I did, however, notice a couple of stutters in chapter 16. Perhaps I'm being persnickety (in which case, Availle, please let me know), as they're not really magnificent blunders. But I thought I should bring them up, nonetheless.
3:20 - “def… definitive fear of ghosts”
11:35 - “opp… opposition”
15:02 - “savage prime… primitive”

I will try and re record those snippets
must have been distracted and missed them while proof listening!!
Availle already mentioned the file name issue, so no need to bring that up.
This is great. Lovely reading. There's just one minor issue: the silence at the end is far too long. Each recording should end with only five seconds of silence. This one concludes with a stretch of silence far longer than that.
Otherwise, this is wonderful. Nicely done!
Great!
could you please cut the end silence to 5 seconds only and reupload the file as
shadowings_05_hearn_128kb.mp3
please?
Thanks!
Cheers, Ava.

Insertions never match up perfectly. You'll get better at doing it over time, but still some people will notice. It's not _very_ important, don't worry too much about it.

Thank you, Chuck. The level of reading already done on this project is intimidating. Probably the best-read project I have stumbled into.
How would you know that...
does that mean you're downloading the other sections?
Naughty girl! You really should wait until we're all finished here and the project is catalogued.
Cheers, Ava.

If not, why then, this parting was well made.
I have already entered your new file into the MW, so there shouldn't be any problems. Chuck will check it once again, but there shouldn't be any problems.
I hope you'll be reading more for us soon!
Cheers, Ava.
