Hi Anita,
I'm sorry, our BC doesn't seem to be around. Are you still interested in doing section 18? Happy to assign it to you.

There is really only one issue relating to volume.
Although the overall average is right on target, the first portion up to about 3:12 is actually too low, coming in at about 85.9 dB and then there is an abrupt change as you get into the character, and then there is a sudden jump to about 97 dB, although the remainder of the section averages close to our target of 89 dB. You'll see the very noticeable on the waveform. I think the best solution is just to amplify that first section by about 3 dB, or maybe a little more, to make it more consistent with the rest of the recording.

I'll give it a try! I had taken my laptop and microphone with me out of town, and while everything worked fine on the road, I found that the volume was "off" when I got back home. I don't recall playing with the settings, but the one thing I was afraid of, was what happened. Anyway.... I'll play with it and let you know.

I've made some adjustments.... let me know if it works. Thanks!

I haven't seen any activity on this project and it just occurred to me.... is the status correct in the MW? Should it be "Ready for PL" or "Ready for spot PL" instead of "See PL Notes"? Thanks-- Anita

Evidently the BC didn't check in to get it in the MW, so I missed it. I'm so sorry.
Anyway, I've checked it and it all looks good now. Thanks for working on this.

Thanks to you both. Yes, I think we will need to look for a new BC.
