Time - 25.47

I'll be starting Section 07 probably later today. I almost forgot how to do this! That's not good! I haven't gotten new glasses since my cataract surgery. You know how insurance works or doesn't!

Thank you for your time!

Carol,
Thank you so much for both your submittals! Our DPL has been a little under the weather, but hopefully he can drop in soon and catch up.

We're only 1 section away from having the whole book recorded now!

Greetings -

Just one note about Chapter 11:

TIME: 09:16 TEXT: "Well," said Rollo," COMMENT: This phrase is repeated.

I must say that the book ends rather abruptly. Is there a sequel?

Thank you Lomond. The chapter is fixed and ready for spot PL.
As for a sequel, I don't know... this is a great story, but perhaps the lessons the author wanted to teach.... were accomplished??

Well, Nammy, everything is PL OK with Chapters 6 and 7 except for one thing:

Part of the opening statement is missing for both chapters. "All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information or to volunteer, please visit librivox.org."

Thanks for doing these two chapters. Now on to Chapter 5 to finish this book.

To: Nammy and EVERYONE else effected:

MY ERROR and I profusely apologize- I made a mistake in my “intro section instructions”: For the second and subsequent sections. Regarding the statement in error, I said to use the shortened intro:
"Chapter # of Jonas on a Farm in Winter, by Jacob Abbott. This LibriVox recording is in the public domain." [Optional: "Read by your name."] "Section Title." This is NOT CORRECT. All intro's should have been patterned after the long version. Again, this is totally my mistake, and I deeply regret you having to edit the intro.

Our helpful MC, Lynnet, clarified this (and I’m so glad she did)… that it is actually a legal requirement for the Longer Version intro to be used in a GROUP recording. (The shortened one is just for Solo’s (which I most often record) and I had not realized that. Please correct/re-record it, and make a note on our thread so that it can have a spot check.

Lomond…please give us a day or 2 until everyone can catch up with this note. Thank you.
