Here are some PL notes for you Tom:

Section 8 PL OK

Section 9

0:12 add, “or to volunteer” (this is the standard for all projects. Just read the intro as given)

Section 10

0:15 add, “or to volunteer”

5:13-16 Long gap. Please adjust

8:22 Text: “Spec’ dis chile ain’t got bus’ness wif dem critters. Oof!”
This jumped out at me. “chile” should be “child” without the “d”, rather thin "chil-ee" as in the pepper. It is part of the dialect.
15: outro should be just, “End of Section 10” - Just follow the directions in the reading instructions.

Please add two more seconds of silence at the end (this is the same on all files – 5 seconds of silence at the end)

Please upload new file with corrected file name --- NO UPPER CASE
(This should be automatic – just copy and paster the template when you name the files)

There are a few other minor deviations, but nothing worth mentioning.

PL Note for Section 11:

I thought we were going to get a PL OK, but the recording just stops at the and, and we are missing, "and there was plenty of meat and dried corn." End of Section 11.

Thank you for an excellent reading of this chapter!

Just one small request: The silence at the beginning is a bit too long. Could you trip it to somewhere between :05-1:0 seconds? This will give you a chance to upload it again under the correct file name. Best just to copy and paste from the template given.

Post the link and file length here again and I'll give it a quick check.

Section 22 Notes:

O:15 please add, “or to volunteer”
At the end please add, “End of Section 22”
Please upload again with lower case only

Section 23 Notes:

0:38 -41 This gap is too long. Cut out about 2 seconds – minor, but worth fixing since you need to upload this one again == using lower case only

Thank you!
I'm at a remote location with sketchy internet, so it may be a few days before I can give you a PL report, but I'm looking forward to listening.

14:39 – Repeat, “I hear notting”
15:27 Text: “and had furrowed the right” I hear, “and had burrowed the right”

Thank you!
Now PL OK

Just one note for Section 25:

From our posted instructions:
If you are recording the final section of the book, add:
"End of Opening the West with Lewis and Clark, by Edwin L. Sabin."

So please add that right after "End of Section 25" plus the 5 second silence.
