Just under the wire, but very glad to have your recording.
Please stay tuned for your proof listening report in case there are any corrections needed.

Greetings -
Welcome to LibriVox, browningallyson1. Hope you stay around for a good long time.
Chapter 12 was nicely read; a very good first offering. No complaints about the reading from your DPL.
Just one minor fix is needed and it will be listed as PL OK. The silent period at the end of the recording needs to be 2-3 seconds longer.
Let's hear more from you real soon.

A couple of notes on Chapter 17:
TIME: 00:22 COMMENT: The title of the chapter, "Davy 'The Bullwhacker'" is omitted.
TIME: 17:07 TEXT: "After the parting of the trail, the next station" The reading has "train" instead of "trail".
Other than those two, this one is PL OK.

Greetings -
I listened to the new recordings of Chapters 13 and 21 and found some things that need attention.
Chapter 13:
TIME: 00:17 COMMENT: There is a four second pause here that could use some trimming in length.
TIME: 09:00 TEXT: "become when they found that they could not" COMMENT: Pause after "not" needs to be trimmed.
TIME: 21:35 TEXT: "at a thousand dollars apiece!" COMMENT: The five second silent period right after "apiece" should be at the very end of the recording.
Chapter 21:
TIME: 00:15 COMMENT: The long pause here should be shortened.
TIME: 02:49 TEXT: "addressed to the post sutler," COMMENT: There is some hesitancy between "post" and "sutler" that could use a quick edit.
TIME: 04:38 COMMENT: "Butte" is pronounced like the first syllable of "beaut-iful"
TIME: 10:51 TEXT: "but which was then western" COMMENT: This phrase has a repeat in it.
TIME: 17:45 COMMENT: This needs to be fixed in the same way as the end of Chapter 13 needs to be with the five second silent period at the end of the recording.
Hang in there, MickeyMac. Everyone goes through this learning curve. Don't hesitate to ask for assistance if you need.
