I realized there actually was an issue with my previous recording-I had repeated something around the 1:00 mark.

I have reuploaded my file with the correction here is the link!

Thank you Toribee.

I asked my librarian about the noise, and she said, "no one would come here
if they weren't allowed to talk out loud." So I read out loud.

Niveau, section 16 is also very nicely and clearly read. Only two notes:

at 12:20 or so there is a bump which can easily be erased using "generate silence"
at 14:10-ish, you need to say "end quote" to distinguish the quote from the following text, "Thus every sacrifice..."

Thank you for your careful readings!

Andrew,

Section 13 is clearly read despite its difficulty. You resisted getting mired down in sub-clauses and names. There are several comments, and edits to make (times marked are within a second or two)

There is airplane noise at several locations. You can diminish them by "effects" "noise reduction" "get noise profile" (at about 3 mins there's a sample without talking over it) then select the affected areas and "apply noise reduction". Remember, any edits you do that don't work out can be undone by using the arrow pointing back. The most affected areas are 3mins - 3:25; 12:20 - 12:50; 36:40 - 37: 20.

@15:38 I hear Isis instead of Osiris
@ 17:50 I hear necav-bah instead of necab-vah
@ 18:49 you left out "beyond" in "beyond connecting"
@ 20:34 I hear Ever Knowable instead of Ever UN-knowable (obviously an important edit)
@ 21:18 the word is "with", not "within"
@ 28:57 I hear Gerard Massey instead of Gerald Massey
@30:09 I hear "though" instead of "through"

These slight imperfections are completely understandable, and otherwise your reading is impeccable. Thank you for seeing to these edits.

I tried to check the volume of section 13 and my checker file couldn't recognize it. Andrew, are you able to pass it through checker to verify that the volume is within the Librivox range?

Thanks

Hello! Thanks very much for your thorough comments! I'll be sure to apply them this week.

I had used the checker before I uploaded the file and it was at a proper gain level.

It seems this is pretty close to completed, but it is listed as requiring DPL to complete it. I would be happy to serve if you would like. In the interim, I will at least PL section 1 based on the notes in sht 9.

PL NOTES:

SECTION 1

PL OK, I found none of the errors cited in the attached post on pg 9 of this thread. I do not have permissions in the MW so MC or BC can update this section to be PL OK.

Thank you Anthony! We're so close to finished, maybe you'd like to continue to PL piecemeal as the last sections come in? Your help with section 1 is much appreciated.

Hello all. Here is my recording of section 14. It passes the gain validation in Checker. I look forward to your feedback!

https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/symbolism_14_blavatsky_128kb.mp3

EDIT: I just realized I needed five seconds of silence at the end. I have reuploaded with the five seconds attached. The new length of this section is 31:39.7.
