Hi guys, sorry the internet was down all day here yesterday. Climate change has brought unprecedented amounts of snowmelt down from the mountains and had washed out part of one of our major highways that the fiber optic (internet) cable runs along. It has even caused the culvert under the road where I live to blow out from under, necessitating a temporary bridge and some heavy work to restore the old channel. Aside from that, much of our territory is on fire due to thunderstorms and their lightning igniting the forests. Image
Anyway, I've fixed up my recording for section 13, good catch on the long silence at the beginning- I must have slid the clip along the time bar by accident somehow.
I spliced in a reread of the section that had been misread (*...She and I) and used the crossfade clip effect to help it blend in with the previous piece of reading.
I nudged the speed up a bit for the librivox intro, since I think I spoke it a bit slowly, which can be frustrating for listeners (especially by ch.13) who just want to get on with the story!
I also ran the normalization that I forgot to do the first time around so the sound and peaks should be more evened out.

Wow! Sounds like what happened in SW Montana that also wiped out roads in Yellowstone. Heavy rain and snowmelt are a bad combination. Glad to have you back online.

I've updated the MW and marked this Ready for PL, so lomond will check it out and we'll be ready to wrap this up. :D

Greetings -

This is your DPL being a bit picky.

The silence at the beginning of the recording needs to have a couple more seconds trimmed off.

Otherwise, this one is PL OK. Very nice edit of the two missing words.

Let's hear more from you in the very near future.

Hello again my gracious proof listener. I've trimmed the silence down to about 0.5 second at the beginning of the track. Thank you for all your help bringing this book to life!
