Thank you. I have updated the MW.

I am a little perplexed about the time, though. If the recording was 16:30 before, how is it only 16:22 after adding 1.5 seconds? :hmm: Perhaps the 16:30 you gave earlier was a typo? Otherwise, I'm concerned that something may have been inadvertently cut somewhere else.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

I've amended all points highlighted. I may be hearing things but I think I might have messed up the audio and I can't figure out what I've done :(.

You did a really good job of inserting the missing text. I wouldn't have been able to tell where it was if I hadn't know about it.

I don't know what happened with the audio. Did you run noise reduction on the first submission? I ask because the first time your volume was just about perfect and this time it his too high.
- Please reduce the audio volume by 2-3 dB.

- Also , the silence at the end is still short by about 1.5 seconds.

Thanks,

M
I think I may have cracked it - volume should now be ok and additional 1.5 seconds of silence inserted at the end.

I just did a high speed listen to it and everything is there. I didn't pay attention to the time of the earlier recording because I know it would change. All is good with it now including the time.

Thanks for double checking that. I appreciate you going that extra mile. :9:

Good job. There is just one small comment.

At about 13:15 it sounds to me like "needed" in "If John had
not heeded that angel in the path". Could you please double check.

Thanks,

M
yep, looks like I misread needed for heeded. Do I rerecord this part?

That is correct. Just redo that small piece and paste it over the old part and upload again.

Thanks,

M
This reader has not logged in for over two months now. I think we can assume they will not be coming back to fix this section. I am inclined to mark this as PL ok in spite of the error, trusting to listeners to use context to figure it out. The alternative is to either open the section to be redone by another reader or have another reader paste in that one sentence. I'm not a big fan of either choice. What do you think, mleigh?

Thanks M, I'm glad it's now PL ok. I tried something different for the very first edit and it's what clipped off the words in the sections you initially pointed out. Then I went back to the original recording and started editing from scratch but messed up the volume. A few more fiddles, a few more breaths and pauses removed = correct volume but shorter time by a few more seconds. Thanks for the extra listen.

I think I'll explain the time variance next time to save someone else the wonder and the need to PL the entire file again.

I agree we should leave it as it is one small miss.

For the most part your recording is well done. There are, unfortunately, two places where the recording is written over. I don't know if it is salvageable or will need to be recorded again.

The two problem areas are
7:01 - 7:37: God will not curse the
good : therefore make them wicked, and cause them
to bring the curse on their own heads. Frederick
W. Robertson has well said that a more diabolical
wickedness can scarcely be conceived. Yet Balaam,
as the world goes, was an honorable and
veracious man; nay, a man of delicate conscientiousness
and unconquerable scruples—a man of
lofty religious professions, highly respectable and
respected.

There are men who would not play false and
yet would wrongly win. There are men who would
not lie and yet who would bribe a poor man to support
a cause which he believes in his soul to be
false. There are men who would resent at the
sword^s point the charge of dishonor, who would
yet for selfish gratification entice the weak into
sin and damn body and soul in hell. There are
men who would be shocked at being called traitors,
yet who in time of war will make a fortune by selling
arms and ammunition and provisions to their
country's foes.

11:21 -11:25: won because we all
have in our own consciousness something which
bears witness

I'm going to listen to section 18 now.

Thanks,

M

Section 13
19:44

My apologies on the late update above. I now know the difference between take mode and tape mode in Reaper. I didnt have to re-record just extend a take in the timeline. This is why the length of the mp3 is a little longer.
