 this was a funny section. And you play the simple country-bloke quite accurately. Thank you, Alan. All PL ok.

Kitty wrote: October 26th, 2021, 2:11 am Oh and please all note that I am taking a hiatus on the Rover series after this one. We managed to record a year's worth of issues in less than a year. I was fun but it was also a lot of work. And I need to take a break from them for the moment before I continue with Volume 2.
I can fully understand that you feel the need to ease back a little, but I shall miss the Rover Issues as I have enjoyed recording for them very much. Thank you for doing these :D

Perhaps I should look around for something similar that I could BC myself :hmm:

well I don't own them...if you want to continue, you can do so ;) I don't mind.

And I have plenty of great links still which I want to offer. I will definitely come back with more poetry soon, fully hoping for your support :)

I can do one or both of the remaining, if that works. Just a thought. Jim

hm ah well, I don't think the females are depicted too positive either. But it was probably the mindset of the times. The enumeration of the origins was quite interesting. Both sections PL ok, thank you again, Jim.

and it was an absolutely great job you did for your first recording  I loved to listen to it, you have a lively way of narration and it's really easy to understand and follow along. I enjoyed it. It sounded like you had fun, which is a good thing. Hopefully many more to come.

The text as such was flawless too, only we need one more addition right at the beginning:

> at 0:01: you missed the first part of the LibriVox disclaimer. It's always pointed out in the very first post.
Please add: "Section 6 of The Rover Volume 1 Number 26. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information or to volunteer, please visit librivox.org."

The easiest way to add anything to a recording is recording it in a new Audacity window, then amplifying and noise-cleaning as you may have done the rest of the recording and then copy/pasting it into the right spot.

Please reupload with the exact same filename, the old file then gets replaced by the new one.

Thank you

Jacob Matter O'Fact  what a name ! Quite a witty article, read tongue-in-cheek. Thank you, Greg, all PL ok as well.

The Last of the Last :(
awww you make me feel melancholic  but it will not be the last altogether, I am quite sure I will continue with Volume 2 at some point, just not right away. I will definitely let you know when it's starting off again.

The last word is PL ok. Some comments were a bit nasty from the editors, I find. They wouldn't have been accepted on LV

Thank you, Alan !

Thank you, Sonia. Since I never heard of Jacob Matter O' Fact I had hoped I had chosen the right voice to use. Thank you for confirming!
