Hi Michael and Jessie

First of all I apologize for dropping the ball on my section 57. Went traveling and didn't follow up until today! So I added the missing piece and uploaded the section again.

https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/cambridgemodernhistory3_57_various_128kb.mp3 39'32" length

And I also need an admin to delete my initial misnamed upload which is
https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/cambridgemodernhistory3_57_various_128kb.mp3.mp3

Sorry for that mistake.

Thanks!

Thanks for the update!

I see the length is 39:26 (it shows 39:22 at first then as approaching the end, the length is shown 39:26, I guess it happens when you trim off the extra silence at the end. So I think it should be fine.) instead of 39:32.

At 0:23 - 0:24 there is some banging noise in the background if you please remove it.

Regards,
Jessie

Yes, the new edition is perfect!

It shows 39:21, though it is accurately somewhere between 39:21 and 39:22. I listened to it and it is now PL OK.

Many thanks for your patience in polishing it again!

Regards,
Jessie

Feedback on this 32:14 recording for Section #12:
9:09 "Altogether, he probably had gathered ..." was read as "Although, he ..."
18:57 - 19:03 repeated "ordinary occupation"
20:32 - 20:33 "August 2" was read as 'August "two"' instead of 'August "the second"'
24:28 - 24:29 an extra "with" (...a force with which) in the text "...a force which"
We haven't heard back from the reader, but I think these PL notes can be passably (if not perfectly) addressed through editing alone. I've deleted the word "although" and the two stumbles/repeats, leaving "August two" as is. Jessie could you check if these sound ok?

Thanks,
Michael

We have not heard back from the readers of sections 16 and 19 (The Empire under Ferdinand I and Maximilian II), so they have been reopened. Any takers?
