please mark s. 61 ready for PL. Thanks!

I asked my librarian about the noise, and she said, "no one would come here
if they weren't allowed to talk out loud." So I read out loud.

So many ready for PL - may I proof a few of them ? I can start at the beginning and work through as many as possible. But I don't want to take on DPL - do you have someone already?

Peter Why wrote: October 3rd, 2021, 10:41 pm Thanks, Erin.

Section 42 has been edited and re-uploaded. Because I have a cold and couldn't replace the phrase, I've replaced my glottal stop with a T and a fraction-of-a-second silence. I hope that sounds okay, but I'm happy to have another go if it's not clear.

Peter

Sorry for the late reply! I've checked it over and it sounds just fine now 😊 thank you for adding that in! 42 now PL OK!

Hello all! So sorry for the long wait on PL checks—earlier this month I seem to have found myself on the wrong end of a distracted driver  Not to worry! I'm fine now and finally home :9:

With that said, here are all of the PL checks I have finished! The only sections that are waiting still should be §51-54, 56, and 58-63, which I plan to finish later this evening. If there are any other sections I have missed though please let me know! 😊

§1-2, 5, 7, 1, 19-20, 22-23, 25, 32-33, 35-36, and 50 are all PL OK!

PL NOTES:
§15: ~0:36 I hear a repeat "...to their ankles more or less....more or less; Behind each dainty..."

§49: ~0:26 I hear "At nine o'clock this very day" instead of "At nine o'clock o' this very day". I don't think it will change anything so I am fine marking it as PL OK, just wanted to bring it to attention in case it was an accident and you'd like to change it 😊

§31: Volume is a tad high at 92.8 dB; should be between 87-91 dB 😊

 I don't believe there's a right end of a distracted driver... Glad to hear you're ok now!

I suppose you have a point lol; luckily the driver is okay and had minor injuries <3 They were a teenager, so hopefully they've learned after this the importance of not texting and driving!

Round 2 of PLs! This should be all of the sections currently needing a PL, but if I've missed one please let me know!!

§52-54 and 58-63 are PL OK!

PL NOTES:
§51: ~1:19 I hear "I live for it, I love it, I like it;" instead of "I live for it, love for it, like it;" I don't think it changes the meaning too much, but I've noted it in case the BC believes different.

§56: ~0:07 I hear "by after Whyte-Melville.." instead of "after W. E. Henley".
