In sections 31, 36 and 37 the word "Session" in the title could be changed to the plural "Sessions" since those three times multiple sessions are included together in the same section, like on this one.

PL OK and thus the Council of Trent has been concluded.

And the second two are PL OK. I got tripped up by the "This is, is, is my body,' etc."

Regarding this section whose recording is one full hour, containing two thematically-different decrees from two different council sessions (even if from the same year), April 24, 1870 & July 18, 1870:
80 The Dogmatic Decrees of the Vatican Council concerning the Catholic Faith and the Church of Christ (the Infallibility of the Pope) A.D. 1870

I propose breaking it down into two sections:
80.1 Dogmatic Constitution on the Catholic Faith, Vatican Council A.D. 1870
and
80.2 First Dogmatic Constitution on the Church of Christ, Vatican Council A.D. 1870
Once edited, they should be roughly 35 and 25 minutes in length respectively.

I employ the ".1" and ".2" because, in addition to this section, the preceding section 73 certainly needs to be expanded, which risks shuffling the section numbering overall (because of pushing the section-count over 100)...

*****
While the notes for section 73 state "p.445-455", that is likely a typo from "p.445-545": in other words, it is a 100-page section, not a 10-page one! Furthermore, these are a "full" hundred pages, not side-column "half-page" ones... Probably about 5 hours total once all is said and done (I recorded the Introduction this afternoon, about 35 minutes).

Respecting the structure of the Catechism, I thus propose the following breakdown for the original section 73:

73 The Longer Catechism of the Russian Church, prepared by Philaret, Revised and Approved by the Most Holy Synod A.D. 1839
[1] - Introduction (nos. 000-065; pp 445-455)
[2] - On Faith, 1st & 2nd Articles (nos. 066-149; pp 456-468)
[3] - On Faith, 3rd to 7th Articles (nos. 150-237; pp 468-481)
[4] - On Faith, 8th & 9th Articles (nos. 238-282; pp 481-490)
[5] - On Faith, 10th Article with the Sacraments (nos. 283-365; pp 491-502)
[6] - On Faith, 11th & 12th Articles (nos. 366-385; pp 503-506)
[7] - On Hope, The Lord's Prayer (nos.386-434; pp506-513)
[8] - On Hope, The Beatitudes (nos. 435-480; pp 513-519)
[9] - On Love, The Commandments, 1st to 4th (nos.418-553; pp 519-532)
[10] - On Love, The Commandments, 5th to 10th; Conclusion (nos. 554-611; pp 532-542)

On average these ten sections would run about 30 minutes each.

Perhaps the first section could list the full title:
"The Longer Catechism of the Russian Church, prepared by Philaret, Revised and Approved by the Most Holy Synod A.D. 1839 - Introduction"
whereas the subsequent ones could be abbreviated:
"The Longer Catechism of the Russian Church A.D. 1839 - On Faith, 1st & 2nd Articles"
etc.

This makes a big difference! I'm very sorry about the ... 5 hour typo. If you prefer to retract your claim for this section in light of what you have now discovered, you are welcome to. If you are still game then your suggestions make sense. Use the format https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/creedschristendom_73_various_128kb.mp3, https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/creedschristendom_73b_various_128kb.mp3 etc.
I'll set them up at the bottom of the MW.

Can you comment on this Tricia? My memory is that the limit is 255 rather than 100 but I could be wrong. Edit: the MW has let me go to 100 though it's possible there will be more when MaryAnn's sections comine in.

Way ahead of me.

Sorry for the scope creep on this project. I'm sure it will be finished at some point. Better than most DRs I guess...

After recording most of the First Helvetic Confession, of which I declared "Please read the German. No English PD translation exists", I thought to myself 'Is that really really true? Has nobody in the last 500 years ever translated it into English? Haven't my skills in mining archive.org improved radically since I launched this project?'

So after chasing up some hints, allusions and dead-ends (the whole thing is found here but has been separated into it individual articles and spread across a 700 page book!), I present The First Helvetic Confession translated into the Scots dialect for your PD-status perusal

https://archive.org/details/miscellanyofwodr01lain/page/n30/mode/1up

which, while not the easiest text, is not much different to the worst spelling of the 1500s which I hack through for the Reformation Collection.

Publish date of 1844 - PD OK!

I like how they put periods in the Roman numerals: M.DCCC.XLIV. Makes it easier to read.
