I have one other section assigned to me. Give me another day or two to have that one completed.
Sorry for the delay.

As happens every once in a while, your DPL gets to play good news/bad news.

The good news is that the reading part of this offering is nicely done. Good speed, good diction, and your accent adds to the enjoyment of listening.

There are a couple of technical things that need to be fixed and this one will be PL OK.

The recording level comes in at 95.8 dB which is over our limit of 92 dB.

The silent period at the beginning of the recording is a bit long. It needs to be chopped down to a half-second or so.

If you need help knowing how to fix these, just let us know.

Looking forward to your other chapter.

Chapter 19:

The Good and the Fixable:

The reading was very good and the bear voice is just perfect. :-)

The audio level comes in at 94.7 dB which is above the limit of 92. Adjust the audio level and lop off about 2-3 seconds of silence at the end of the recording and this one will be PL OK.

Alas! The audio level for Chapter 9 is still coming in at 94.6 dB. It needs another trim job. :-)

Hello!

I have chosen section 26 to be my first read. Please use J. A. Taylor for the librivox catalogue.

Upon approval, I will start Monday with reading.

also, there is an antiquated word in the reading. It is par for the course as the reading was written in an era when it was accepted.

Not offended.

Thank you for your interest!
This is quite a long section to record for you first outing, but if you feel you are ready to take it on, I'll put you in for it. Just click on your name in the Magic Window to view your catalog page.

Thanks for those helping out with the orphans.

I have added Chapter 20 to that group, so along with Chapter 33 only two open sections.
I'd love to finish this before the end of the month....
