Maybe the colour sheet is not very clear, but I thought both the soldiers and the guardsman should recite "Annie Laurie", not one saying the first part and the other the second. It should have been done in chorus so to speak. :? I think it's not realistic that each would only sing part of the name. Maybe the colour-code was not clear here, sorry. Could you maybe change this, so Craig understands this as well ?
Yes, I was wondering whether I had done it wrong. But I have re-recorded the entire line and uploaded again. Also fixed the Doc to make it crystal clear for Craig.

couldn't resist: my last two before I goto bed

https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/worldsbestpoetryvolume2_2_070_various_128kb.mp3
Recording time: 1:22 min.

Note to Anthony here: I tacitly changed an obvious typo in the text here:
As the sun-flower turns to her god, when he sets,
The same look which she turn'd when he rose!
in this text there was "when SHE sets", which startled me, since the meaning is the "god/Sun" which is male here, as one can see in the second line.

I also found another version on wikipedia, which corroborates my thought:

Recording time: 1:22 min.

both exactly the same length...eerie :?

another dramatic reading from me. only waiting for Jason's part, then this can be assembled.

Oh I loooove Corneille's and Racine's dramas (in the original French at least). Great heroines, huge emotions displayed. :9: If only we could find a good translator, I would be all for doing the entire Racine works in English. This excerpt actually sounded good too, so this translator would be fitting. Hopefully he might have done Racine works as well.

also had time for another one, this one waiting for Craig to be finished :)

Thanks Craig, you've been prolific !!!!

What kind of issues ? Which microphone you have ? I am not an expert though, but if it's a big problem you might try our help section, post a comment there, there's always some tech-savvy people around happy to help.

I'll put your files in the MW. Thanks !

There is only one small issue here;
Volume is a little high at 92.2dB. Please bring below 92dB and re-up for the ok.

I am not sure what sort of technical issues you are having, as cited in your earlier post, but all of these are spot-on. Keep up the great work!

I'm happy to announce that I finished my lengthiest narration: The Eve of St. Agnes, and this despite my sore throat. I do sound a bit husky but I think it adds atmosphere to the whole poem

also a shorter poem as bonus:
