Maintes remerciements, Isad! Une contribution aux archives en même temps, c'est opportuniste!

I asked my librarian about the noise, and she said, "no one would come here
if they weren't allowed to talk out loud." So I read out loud.

Thank your for the contribution! Maybe you'll be able to find Spanish translation? There might be one.

I looked for a bit but couldn't find one, I'm not very good at looking for this stuff though and wasn't really getting any results

I have been invited to read the Polish translation. As I explained to ShiNeko I need to find a quiet corner to set myself up for recording again (it's been a while...) but I am happy to try.

I am writing here because I found another Polish translation, one I like much more, the translator is a famous Polish writer and poet Maria Konopnicka (1842-1910), I found this translation on WikiZrodla, the link is here: https://pl.wikisource.org/wiki/Czyś_ty_pracował%3F... the date of publication is 1901. If you think it may be a good idea I can try to record both versions. Please let me know,
-nina-

PS I wish I could read the original Italian, sometimes beautiful translation is not very exact. (sight)

I can confirm that it is PD. The URL doesn't work as a link for me because of the trailing dots. It does in this hyperlinked form.

I'll let our BC answer the other questions.
