Note: The "x" (i.e., Cxe)
luckily I am able to reproduce that letter on my computer.

Great! I was afraid the Ĉ wouldn't go, so I settled! I'm curious what you use on your computer for it? I use a separate program called Tajpi that I turn on for Esperanto. It substitutes the unused letters (x y q w) and the bracket keys for the "hat" diacritic letters.

I'm very excited to post two stories in two Indian languages.
Hi DC,

It would be fantastic to add readings in Hindi and Bengali to our catalog. Unfortunately, in order for the recording to be in the public domain in the US, where our servers are located, the reading has to be done from a source published in 1925 or earlier. Chandamama was founded in 1947, so we would not be able to publish any readings from it at LibriVox. :( If it's in the public domain in your country, you could share your recordings in a different way, for example by uploading them to Youtube or Archive.org yourself. We are always glad to verify the copyright status of a source before you record it.

Ok, I have removed it from the MW. Hopefully, the next volume of the first chapter collection will be launched soon.

actually I found the letter in the special signs in the Word program, so I simply copied it from there. I guess if you want to reproduce it with the keyboard, you first need to download the esperanto script, if that exists, because I think it may be the only language where the circumflex is on the c. :?
Thanks to czandra for mentioning this project to me. I see this is #30. Is there always one of these going?
yes once this one is archived, we will launch the next one. But you are welcome to record whenever you wish. Right now we have 16 PL ok sections, so we need 4 more. If the 4 in the MW that still have PL notes come in edited, we catalogue, or if someone else uploads new material that is PL ok before the edits are made, we take those first and transfer the unfinished ones to the next project. Whichever comes first. :)

Hi Michael,

I don't know how I missed the date of the publication of Chandamama  guess the excitement of recording in an Indian language :D
In the last few days, I've gone through a number of archived docs/texts/stories. Please confirm if Munshi Premchand and Rabindranath Tagore's work in Hindi and Bengali respectively will be acceptable. A lot of their work along with Swami Vivekananda's in Bengali were published prior to 1925. Wikipedia lists their work along with the date published: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premchand and https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_works_by_Rabindranath_Tagore.

Thanks and regards

Hi DC,

It's not enough for us to know that a pre-1925 edition of the work exists somewhere. The recording has to be made while reading from that specific edition, and not a later edition of the work. Many libraries have programs to digitize and make publicly available scans of old books. Perhaps you might be able to find a scan of those editions on the website of an Indian or Bengali library.

Thanks Michael, I"ll look around for early editions of their work and get back here soon.

thank you Anya, for another mystical narration of this beautiful poem. A nice addition to our collection and it's perfectly PL ok. I probably would have included the "I" and "II" at the beginning of the sub-sections, but it's optional. No need to reupload.

17 contributions are done. We are approaching the end. Still no word from our Spanish readers ? :hmm:

oh cool, so that what it sounds like.
thank you for the corrections, unfortunately, there are still two notes you didn't correct:

> at the beginning: you still forgot to add "Lee" to the title
> at the end: now you have 7 seconds of silence, could you just cut 2 from that, please. We need only 5

also thank you for the other two poems, which are very beautiful too :)

a few notes here as well:
> the volume is only 82.2 dB, we accept between 86 and 92. Could you please amplify with +7 to get into the perfect average of 89 ?
> at the end: again nearly 7 seconds of silence, which need to be cut down to 5 only
> the volume is only 80.6 dB, please amplify with +9

Thank you

Sonia
These three sections are ready for spot PL. The reader hasn't come back, so I went ahead and made the edits indicated above.
