the story of Durof and the pig was so sad  really made my heart ache.

But both stories are excellently narrated

I will mark the second already PL ok.

2 PL notes for La cabeza a componer:

> in the beginning we recommend a silence of about 0.5 to 1 second maximum, everything more seems very long for the listener to wait for the start. You have nearly 2 seconds here, so you could cut a bit from there.
(The other story has the same length in the beginning, but there are no other errors, so I will not fail it just for that ;) )

> at 5:51: repetition, one version can be cut out: "Lo mismo que su antecesor, practicó un registro en la sesera"

thank you

Hi Sonia!

Thanks a lot for your accurated feedback. I'm so sorry for the mistake (the repetition) in the first recording (La cabeza a componer). I've fixed it and I've cut the silence at the beginning.

So the new information in this recording (the same but shortter)

First story:
MP3: https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/msw030_cabezacomponer_pardo_mc_128kb.mp3
Duration: (08:42)
Author: Emilia Pardo Bazán
Title: La cabeza a componer
Language: Spanish
Text: http://www.cervantesvirtual.com/portales/pardo_bazan/obra-visor/la-cabeza-a-componer--0/html/ffb6b312-82b1-11df-acc7-002185ce6064_2.html#I_0_
Keywords: Emilia Pardo Bazán, centenario, cuentos, locura, cabeza, cordura

PD. And totally agree... the story of Durof and the pig was so sad... but this story shows us the human being cruelty.

Thanks again!

Thanks, Mireia. When you upload an updated recording, you don't need to post all its information again. Just the upload link and the new duration is fine. :)

Thanks a lot!

Just only one question more... I don't know why my contribution (both recordings) doesn't appear in the list of Emilia Pardo Bazán readings.

Thanks again and best regards!

They will appear in the author listing after this volume of the collection is finished and cataloged.

Thanks,

Hi Magu,

Thanks for your contribution! I've entered it into the Magic Window and our proof-listener, Sonia, will check it soon.

The filename was almost correct, except it should not contain any capital letters and the title should be written as one word, like this: msw030_annabellee_poe_mvz_128kb. Please use that name if you need to upload it again for another reason, but if no other changes are needed, we'll correct the name during cataloging.

I see that your catalog name was already entered as Maria Agustina Von. Here's your reader page:

thank you, Magu, it's a wonderful poem and I liked it really very much. I needed a bit of time to get into your accent, where is it from if I may ask ? It's not the standard Spanish I am used to so far. Very interesting. After a few sentences it was getting easier to understand though. And I'm not a native speaker, so the Spanish-speaking world will have no trouble with it.

Before I can mark it ok though, there are a few things to correct. No need to re-record it all, it's always better to spot edit to save everybody much time in re-recording and relistening to it all.

here is what you need to do:

> your bitrate is variable, but we need 128kbps constant. Are you using Audacity ? It's very easy to change the bitrate in that programme, while exporting to mp3

> at 0:01: "Annabel Lee, by Edgar Allan Poe" – you forgot to say "Lee"

> at 0:04: please include the translator: "translated by Alberto Lasplaces"

> at 1:05: stumble and repeat: "no se sentían" – can be cut once

> at 2:01: "End of Annabel Lee" – you again forgot to say "Lee"

> at the end we need a standard of 5 seconds of silence, you only have about 3. Could you add two more seconds please ?

> and please reupload with the correct filename, in this case: msw030_annabellee_poe_mvz_128kb

thank you

oh cool, so that what it sounds like.
thank you for the corrections, unfortunately, there are still two notes you didn't correct:

> at the beginning: you still forgot to add "Lee" to the title
> at the end: now you have 7 seconds of silence, could you just cut 2 from that, please. We need only 5

also thank you for the other two poems, which are very beautiful too :)

a few notes here as well:
> the volume is only 82.2 dB, we accept between 86 and 92. Could you please amplify with +7 to get into the perfect average of 89 ?
> at the end: again nearly 7 seconds of silence, which need to be cut down to 5 only
> the volume is only 80.6 dB, please amplify with +9

Thank you

Bonjour !

Un peu de français vous intéresserait il ?
Guy de Maupassant, La Bécasse, 1894. Nouvelle tirée des Contes de la Bécasse. Wikisource.

Vous me dites.

A bientôt
Bon après-midi !
