I cannot log in this librivox account for uploading again, as the password is said to be wrong. What has changed?
Are you following the instructions and using the password listed there?

https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test

After you log in, upload your test recording again, wait until you see the upload link, copy it, and post it to the forum Listeners and Editors Wanted.

What is the error message? Make sure that your recording is in the mp3 format.

Good job, Anya! A few notes here (all are optional as I took liberty to provide some CC :D ):
0:04 - "История моей голубятни by Исаак Бабель". The head post says: "The intro and outro can be in English, or in the language of the text." -- but not a mix of two. I suggest "История моей голубятни Исаака Бабеля"
9:43 - SimOn.
13:22 - шЁлковые, I hear "шeлкOвые"
24:23 - шинели, I hear "шинэли"
30:20 - Again, the mix of languages does not sound right to me
Thank you, and again, it's all optional!

Thank you, Mark! The form "шeлкOвые" is described in dictionaries as "нар.-поэт."

Here is the full quote:
"Он выпил бессарабского вина поболее, чем ему было надо, шелковые традиционные шнурки вылезли из-под красной его жилетки." I wouldn't say "нар.-поэт." is applicable here.
I'll risk giving too much info: Babel makes a mistake here (as the story goes, he's got a secular education). The "традиционные шнурки" are of course, the ritual "tzitzit", made of wool, never of silk. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tzitzit#Fabrics :D

Thank you Mark for making an effort to improve my record by providing CC PL.

I worried the characters could sound not appropriate, because I didn't pre-recorded them as I used to do. Since you didn't mention it, I reckon they sound right, and I'm really happy with it :D

Concerning my prononciation I find the source text seem to be written in a not very standard Russian so I took the liberty to read some places my way.
The head post says: "The intro and outro can be in English, or in the language of the text." -- but not a mix of two. I suggest "История моей голубятни Исаака Бабеля"
2) 9:43 - SimOn.
3) 13:22 - шЁлковые, I hear "шeлкOвые"
4) 24:23 - шинели, I hear "шинэли"
5) 30:20 - Again, the mix of languages does not sound right to me
1)&5) It is just my style of "performing" for this project. My first record was in a mix of Rus and Ukr languages so I chose Eng for standard desclimer and still find it convenient for me. I'm sorry that it is confusing for you.

2) I've never heard nither SimOn nor SImon  The distance doesn't mean anything. Speaking with smb from Odessa would help, but I've never done it. My train of thoughts took me through these "stations" СимОна - ШимОн Перес - СемЁн - СемЕн (укр.) I admit I had to look it up in a dictionary, but it looked so close to smth familiar (which was a trap  )
Both Rus and Ukr dictionaries have it the way you suggest. I'll fix it, thank you)

3) This is interesting! Шёлковые шнурки made such a strange picture to me, that I decided to switch the stress in order to imply "they were like silk while not being actually made of this material". (All this went very fast in my mind)
This way of stress is also sounds like a Ukr equivalent шовкОвi and as smth народно-поэтическое too) (Thank you Misha for you support!)
And now you're saying they are never made of silk
I'll leave it as is.

4) This is smth personal. I say this word in a wrong way in order to sound not too like my granny  She also said шоссе, not -сЭ.
Sorry I'm willing to leave it as is.

All in all, I appreciate your suggestions and will fix 2) later.

Thank you!
