RutiPape wrote: June 15th, 2021, 11:55 pmNow it will take a little more time before you will hear from me again. I have to read 4 chapters! and edit them a bit ;-)
take your time, because the entire story will be quite long to record and editing often takes 3-4 times as long. The maximum allowed length for a file is 74 minutes, but I'm sure you will not exceed that.

I can wait :)

Hi Sonia,

here I am back!
I finished to read the story

https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/msw029_casodifficile_roggero_rp_128kb.mp3

I tested it and this are the results:

msw029_casodifficile_roggero_rp_128kb.mp3
File Size 31,8 MiB
Encoding Type MPEG-1 Layer III (encoded with LAME3.100)
MP3 Format 128 kbps 44.100 Hz Mono
Track Length 34:46,64 (m:ss.ss)
 Volume 88,2 dB
DC Bias +0 (-0,0000%)
Clipped Audio 0 ms (0,00%)

So, it seems that from this point of view, the test is passed :D

I now await your response.

Bye,
Ruti

 letto perfettamente, Ruti. It was a pleasure to listen to the entire story and I love stories about amnesia 8-) All the initial errors have been corrected for chapter 1 and the rest was read flawlessly.

So: congratulations to your first official PL ok section on Librivox.

I hope you enjoyed it and you will record plenty more. :) There are still 3 open sections here, in case you want to contribute another one.

Thank you, and have a good start in the new week.

Oooh! Thank you very much!
I'm so happy that you like it :D

I entered the keywords, but I think it is better to replace them as with the ones I had chosen, I practically spoil the story
So, might be it is better to use only "Italiano; Racconti".

Yes, it was interesting to do and I even enjoyed it at times!
So I think I'll do more.
What do you think about it? From the same book or is it better to change?

Have a good week and until next time!

oh this is as you wish, you can choose another short story from the same book, or a shorter poem maybe, or even a non-fiction text. Anything is accepted as long as the source text is public domain.

I look forward to hearing a new story, whenever you are prepared to start recording again. :9:

Hello everyone! Здраво, здраво!

I see you have nothing in Macedonian for this collection :) Since, our databases are veeeeery scarce, I have pulled out a magazine from 1892. I know that the date of publishing fits the copyright standard, but I am not sure of the source. There is a short story in it, by Petar Pop Arsov that's what I'd like to get my hands on for this collection. However, before I start recording, I'd ask for a green light (source - wise) by the BC or MC. Here's the link https://mk.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%D0%9F%D0%BE%D0%B4%D0%B0%D1%82%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%BA%D0%B0:RS-II-107-1892-1894_%D0%9B%D0%BE%D0%B7%D0%B0.pdf&page=3.

Cheers!!

The source looks good. It would be great to have another Macedonian contribution!

"E' schlauen Hansel", by S. (couldn't find the real name, it's from a satirical newspaper - we can probably put him in as "anonymous")
