Any constuctive criticism is welcome.
Hi Victor. Sorry for the delay, constructive criticism takes time :-)
Great job, just a few stresses:

We should say "папA" through the chapter. @4:44 "взглянувъ на папа" proves that it is a French word. The Russian "пAпа" would get declined, and it would become "взглянувъ на папу".
@0:34, 0:58, 1:02, 1:27, 3:25, (2:35 and 2:47 "папA" already), 4:44, 5:03, 6:22, 7:21, and 9:14 - Please say "папA"
@1:30 "Погодите , сейчасъ" -- here "сейчасъ" is used as a synonym to "Погодите", therefore there should be a short pause between them, and they should be said with the same intonation.
@1:50, 3:00 -- "счЁты", I hear "счетЫ". Letter "ё" is always stressed in Russian, but you know that, later you keep saying "счЁты". :-)
@3:09 -- деньгАми, I hear дЕньгами
@3:15 -- напИсано, I hear нАписано
@5:10 -- помОлу, I hear пОмолу
@5:45 -- ПетрА, I hear ПЁтра (one of the Russian irregularities :-) )
@6:25 -- учИтесь (it's imperative), I hear Учитесь
@8:15-8:25 -- fragment repeated
@8:42 -- отпУстят, I hear отпустЯт
@8:56 -- несчАстлив, I hear несчастлИв (that's a different word)
@9:22 -- утЕшив, I hear утешИв

Thank you for your patience! Happy New Year!

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your feedback and corrections! It is very helpful.
I replaced the words with wrong stresses and deleted the repeted sentence. Only this one I could not find: @6:25 -- учИтесь (it's imperative), I hear Учитесь. I found this word later in the recording and it seems to me that I pronuonced it: учИтесь. Please let me know if it is ok.

Hi Hanna,

Happy New year to you and all readers.

I'm Dominique Ducamus, I'm French. Do you think I could read Княгиня Корнакова, the 17th chapter ?
Of course, if you find it too laborious because of my Russian, I won't insist.
I've already tried to read old Russian tales but had to stop because the old text was too difficult for me. I think this one I can read. Can I try ?

Have a nice day.

Thank you, Victor, for the quick corrections! Just a few more because of my own mistakes:
@4:44 "взглянувъ на папA", I hear "взглянувъ на папу" (this is how it would sound if it were a Russian "папа" :-) ).
@6:10 "то въ глаза папA", I hear "то въ глаза папы" (I am sorry, I missed that the first time, no declension for the foreign word)
this one I could not find: @6:25 -- учИтесь (it's imperative), I hear Учитесь.
My mistake again, sorry! Here I meant
@6:30 "не перемѣнЮ", I hear "не перемЕню"
@7:50 -- the other way around, should be "Учитесь", I hear "учИтесь" (it is NOT imperative)

Happy New Year!

Hi Dominique!
I remember you from the Russian tales project and I'm glad you came here. This book is more realistic and there is no черт who goes into smb's body as you could read in the tale you chose back in those days :) Please try Ch 17 :D

Thank you Mark for your readiness to help :9:

The text is not very crearly scanned so please feel free to ask any questions.

Happy New Year)
