No, this project has DPL. But Щелкунчик needs a DPL.
Thank you for your interest, Alexander.
https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Guide_for_Proof-listeners
Here I read "A DPL does not have exclusivity the proof-listening of the project", but all right, I don`t insist and will try to be useful somewhere else.
And I don`t take a risk to be a DPL myself, at least for now, because I live near the frontline and cannot be sure of having Internet tomorrow.
Thank you! 🍇

Please PL Sec 7. Sec 13 needs CC and Mark is used to the reader's style.
I'm sorry, I didn't know the phrase you quoted.

I thought you lived in Kyiv :?:

Dear Alexander,
I absolutely do not mind your help with PL. Moreover, I am having a busy stretch, and your help would be very welcome! :9:
Щелкунчик does not have a DPL, that means you may sign up for PLing separate sections, though I am not sure there are any submitted.
A DPL does not have exclusivity the proof-listening of the project
This statement is news to me too. I wonder if MaryAnn could explain what it is supposed to mean and who is responsible for what :hmm:
Peace and safety to you!

chapter 7 is ready to be checked
Hi! 🍍

Sec 7 PL notes:
2:55 - Двѣ борзья собаки ,
5:55 – лёг на трАву; I don`t know if it`s right stress for old language used in that text and imagine that for PL Standart this isn`t necessary;
9:33 - изъ за кустовъ
Smth about 3 sec of silence at the end; just add a little more to reach ~ 5 sec pls.

It`s so curious you don`t tell anything like Recorded by etc.!
Good job, dear Sofia! 🌱

It reminded me the comic scenes of antique russian hunting from the movie "Peculiarities of hunting in winter season" :lol:

Thank you Alexander. Could you please provide the info of what you read in a book and what you hear in a recording for the future? so anybody could easely understand what's the difference.
Thank you

Added.
So I got curious with the word борзья and clarified for myself Sec 7 PL notes
2:55 - Двѣ борзья собаки ,
Alexander made a typo борзья, should be борзыя. More important, Собаки is omitted. I'd leave it up to the reader, because word "борзые" alone is often used meaning "борзые собаки."
5:55 – лёг на трАву; I don`t know if it`s right stress for old language used in that text and imagine that for PL Standart this isn`t necessary;
Alexander heard лёг на трАву, but saw лёг на травУ.
I personally don't believe old Russian of Tolstoy differed too much from the modern one. Moreover, page 38 gives us "на траве" at 6 rows up from the bottom, so the word should sound in the same way of stress. This one needs to be corrected.
9:33 - изъ за кустовъ
Alexander heard из кустов, but saw изъ за кустовъ. The meaning of two words is very close, and I'd leave it up to the reader.

Smth about 3 sec of silence at the end; just add a little more to reach ~ 5 sec pls.
Good catch, Alexander!

Yeah, sure! Thank you. 🍬

For the rest, I don`t argue and remain to wait for a renewed file to PL... Do I well? 🐘

P.S.: however, it amuses me a ton an unconsiderable difference between "выйти из человека" and "выйти из-за человека") :lol:

Just a perfectionist in me requires that every word is said, which is written in the text. But, perhaps, it is really unnecessary.
I do not insist and agree with you. 🍹

And remain to wait for the same section to PL after the correction - am I right?

One of my LV friends calls me a perfectionist too, but I try to give him a rest during checking others' work :)
You're right, please wait for the Ready for spot status in MW for your section.
Thank you)

Any constuctive criticism is welcome.
Hi Victor,
Here is my CC PL for ch.13, mostly stresses again. Regardless of the stresses, your narration is a pleasure! :9:
@1:00: "находИться", I hear "нахOдится", it's a different word.
@1:20: "похвалЫ", I hear "пOхвалы"
@1:32: "с прЯжками", I hear "с пряжкAми"
@1:42: "лЮбящее", I hear "любЯщее"
@4:18: "носовOй", I hear "нOсовой"
@4:40: "гOните", I hear "гонИте"
@5:33: "счAстлива", I hear "счастлИва"
@7:39: "на своего", I hear "за своего"
@8:25: "самъ себѣ", I hear "самъ себя"
@9:05: "пOлноте", I hear "пoлнотE" (this is an archaic usage of the word)

Hi Victor!
I'm happy to hear your progress with every new recording in this project. I hope to hear more and more from you here)
There is a chapter called Стихи you kindly claimed and it occured to me that reading poems might be interesting for you. It seems poems have the advantage of a certain rythm which helps to guess the right stresses even with archaic words) Ch 16 doesn't actually have a lot of poems in it, but there is a whole project viewtopic.php?f=60&t=80910 that you might find worth considering. Just a thought)

Thank you
