great, thank you Larissa. I have glanced over your test and it seems you have the correct settings now.

The only thing that is still outside the range of LibriVox standard is the volume, which is a bit high.

If you are using Audacity, you can download a plug-in which will calculate by how much you need to amplify or decrease your recording so that you get to our desired average of 89 dB. You can download it this way and it's very useful

1. Save the file to your computer - your desktop or somewhere where you can easily find it.
2. Now browse to the folder in which Audacity is installed. It's probably in C:\Program Files\Audacity) and then open the Plug-Ins folder.
3. Drag the file you saved into the Plug-Ins folder.
4. When next you start up Audacity, you will be able to select the whole recording (Ctrl+A on Windows), then go to Analyze | ReplayGain, and it'll tell you how much to amplify your file to get to about 89 dB.

so Mayah, I finally took the time to listen to it all. Your reading is very clear, it's a pleasure to listen to you, as it's not at all difficult for me to follow along with the text. Thank you for that !

I only found one small stumble near the end, the rest is flawless !!!

Announcement for all of you interested readers:

Another abandoned Solo has been resurrected as Group Project. You did all so well in finishing the previous Queiros project, so I hope I can count on you to bring this one to a close as well.

It seems to be quite an interesting and suspenseful novel, judging by the introduction text in the first post.

all right, Brianna, I finally still had some time to PL your section. Wow, if I understood this correctly, the Times had a faulty article, with some very sexual lines interspersed. That must have been a shock for all the readers LOL I wonder how this could have happened ?

I actually found the wiki entry, and apparently it was only one single sentence, although a very explicit one, which I will not copy here, but you can read it for yourself if you are interested

although in the text I though there were several lines interspersed and not only one sentence, but maybe I got that wrong.

Anyway, I found two small errors to correct (and - of course - the diabolical 5 seconds

)

> at 11:08: entre roseas flôres de rhetorica - stumble and repeat at "roseas" can be cut out and the final syllable of "rhetorica" is cut off

> at 21:54: and unfortunately, the 5 seconds are again missing at the end (sorry) could you try to insert them again, please ?

actually no, the 21:54 was the correct time. What happened here is that somehow you pasted the ENTIRE section at the end of the old section, instead of only the 5 seconds. Now you have the whole recording double. Could you please cut out everything after 21:57, and only leave the 5 seconds in
