Well done on sorting out the technical settings on the test. There is only one thing to address, and that is to clean up the background noise. If you are using Audacity, this is how to fix it:
Select a few seconds of background noise only (no speech) and click Effect | Noise Reduction | Get Profile. Then select the whole recording (Ctrl+A), click Effect | Noise Reduction again, and use settings:

Noise Reduction: 10 dB
Sensitivity: 6
Frequency smoothing (bands) 6

and click OK.

Try once -- if you still want to take away background hum, do it again Please save again and upload and post again.

Well done fixing the settings! There is only one thing still to fix:
it is stereo right now (you can see the two tracks in the Audacity window) but needs to be mono. On my version on of Audacity I click Tracks, then Stereo Tracks to Mono, and then export again. Almost there! Please give it another try, then upload and post again.

Todavía hay mucho ruido de fondo en la prueba. Usas Audacity? Intenté limpiar un poco el archivo. Si usas Audacity, te puedo dar instrucciones para quitar este ruido alrededor de 90Hz. Así suena para mí ahora https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test_EmilioHerreronoisereduction_test.mp3

Sí, uso Audacity, supongo que el ruido se debe a mi equipo (el micro es el interno del pc, o la tarjeta de sonido o cualquier otra cosa difícil de solucionar). Dame si quieres las instrucciones para mejorarlo, aunque le veo mala solución... muchas gracias. Emilio.

Usar el noise reduction aplica los cambios a todo el sonido y las eses se oyen muy silbantes, por eso creo que no tiene fácil solución...

No se si tienes un portátil, pero dicen que si grabas en un portátil es mejor usarlo cuando no está cargando. No sé si esto es una opción.

Yo intenté limpiarlo. Veo que mucho del ruido hay alrededor de 90Hz, y por eso seleccioné todo el archivo, hice clic en Efectos (?) y después en Notch filter (no sé como se llama en español). Puse 90 donde dice Frequency (Hz) y OK. Esto quita mucho del ruido.

Gracias Kathrinee, está muy bien, aunque no soy yo quien debe decirlo. Eso del filtro notch soluciona el problema. De todas formas intentaré próximamente usar una tarjeta de sonido que me llegará en unas semanas. No sé si solucionará el problema porque me costó 1€ Si está bien ahora para ti, también está bien para mí y puedo intentar el capítulo XX, y luego intentamos quitar el ruido como ahora, con el notch y el noise reduction. Muchas gracias.

Otra pregunta: ¿Qué nombre quieres usar en el catálogo? Puede ser tu nombre de foro, tu nombre det verdad, o otra cosa
