Yay, thanks! Did you read from the same source? Also, how long is the recording? :)

I read it from "Eventyr, fortalte for børn. Ny samling" at Runeberg.
http://runeberg.org/eventyrny/0184.html.

The recording is 9:25 long. :)

Is this something you want me to put in the posts in the future?

Yes please :) We'd like to know the duration of all recordings (it makes it easier to catch any discrepancies and faulty uploads when we catalog). And in projects when the reader chooses the text, we always want the text source (both so we can add it and to be able to double check that it is in the public domain).

Thank you, I'm looking forward to listening!

Hello and welcome! Yup, it is definitely alive -- there just aren't that many readers who would like to read in Danish, Swedish or Norwegian... :D You can go straight ahead and record. Please make sure to either use one of the sources in the first post or check here that your source is clearly in the Public Domain first

Hi,

I think it could be fun to read the fairy tale "Prinsessen på ærten" by H.C. Andersen. Is that possible? :D

It's from in "Eventyr, fortalte for Børn" at Runeberg: http://runeberg.org/hcaeventyr/0058.html. The fairy tale was spelled "Prindsessen paa Ærten" then it came out, but in modern time Danish, the title is being spelled "Prinsessen på ærten". I don't know which of the spellings that should be used?

Best regards,
Anders

That would be wonderful! :D Please use the spelling of the scan you are linking to alltough modern Danish would spell it differently. Looking forward to listening :9:
