I Have just uploaded sec. 48 “Io non domando Amore”
https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/rime_048_alighieri_128kb.mp3
1:31 minutes.
Also this poetry is attributed by some not to Dante but to his friend Cino da Pistoia.
I would like to be assigned sections 58,59,60,61, to go on with the pleasure of reading "le rime di Dante".

Dear Sonia,
I did choose section 61 without noticing how difficult it was!
I tried my best, but I can still someway manage Italian and Latin without too many problems, but with old French or Langue d’oil is different. (Anyway, I checked on some sites about old French pronunciation)
See if it is acceptable!
Here it is:

You can find some news on this strange poem here: http://www.nuovorinascimento.org/n-rinasc/saggi/pdf/chiament/aifausris.pdf

ok, I had some time to listen to your sections, Algy charmingly narrated, yet again
A small significant textual error in 55 though:
> at 0:18: “ched ei m’ancide” – you say “io” if I’m not mistaken
Sonia
I can mark Sections 54 and 56 already PL ok.Algy Pug wrote: ↑May 31st, 2018, 4:24 pm Section 54

this is more than acceptable wow really good job you did on this quite difficult poem. This is such an interesting amalgam of languages though. It sounds totally cool. Is this poem really attributed to Dante ? Totally different from his other poems.Iunta4Ios wrote: I did choose section 61 without noticing how difficult it was!

well now you can say, you survived the worst, so everything else will be easy in comparisonIunta4Ios wrote:In fact this poem (section 61) "mi fa tremar le vene e i polsi." (see Canto I Inferno
Ion non domando amore is also a wonderful poem, I liked the fluency very much with which you were reciting this one.
Both poems PL ok.
Thanks so much !

I'd like to try section 78, "Di donne io vidi una gentile schiera", please
Oh, and if no one minds, I'd like to DPL Would be good practice for me (studio la lingua, ma
mi mancano troppo di parole)

thank you, Monika, for claiming the DPL job. I'm sure Mary will be thrilled about that. I will still keep a lookout on the project, to PL your section if you wish.
Meanwhile I sign you up for your section. Have fun tackling Dante (not so easy !)
