Thanks, David! I'll try to maintain the rate of one recording uploaded per day and you can then listen to them at a comfortable pace. Take your time.

Hello again, David,
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find time to get more recorded sections up. I'll be away tomorrow till the 10th of December, and that probably means a very long break for you, David! Still, could you help me with other things like other interested readers?
Thanks a lot.

Hello all,David Higham wrote: For what it is worth, I could not find 'mengapatah' in my dictionary, so probably a typo, and I think maybe 'sadja' is an old spelling of saya?
First of all I would like to thank Varra for inviting me in this project.
I never heard of 'mengapatah' before in Indonesian but I heard of 'apatah' though it is not commonly used in everyday language. Mostly it is used for literary works such as poetry or prose.
You can use this on-line dictionary for your reference:

I think 'sadja' is an old spelling of 'saja' instead of 'saya'.
I read chapter two
and discovered that the spelling used is 'ejaan lama' which is Ducth spelling. Now we use EYD (Ejaan yang Disempurnakan).

There's no need to thank me, chrysalis- I should be thanking you instead if you do me the honour of claiming a chapter or two! As for the "typo" in chapter 2, would we proceed with using the 'mengapakah' in the recording or changing it to what is written instead?chrysalis wrote:Hello all,David Higham wrote: For what it is worth, I could not find 'mengapatah' in my dictionary, so probably a typo, and I think maybe 'sadja' is an old spelling of saya?

G'Day, a belated note to PL updates on the magic window;
bab 16 Baik sekali! OK to catalog.
bab 28 Baik sekali OK to catalog (there is a minor repeat; salah kata di pukul 16.27, kata "medicine-bow", bisa biar saja, masalah kecil.)
Cheers, Dave
