I could try with Federigo Tozzi (he died in 1920)... if only I liked his writings!

I'd like to read Pride and Prejudice (Orgoglio e Pregiudizio) by Jane Austen in italian, it is possible? And if it is, anyone whant to get start with me? (I just registered here in librivox so I'd like to start a cooperative project)

Liber Liber is a wonderful resource. You should consider reading not only Italian clasics (a "vita Nuova" would be nice, and Pinocchio would be great fun, especially if it were done as a dramatic reading) but also some of the translations of English classics. As Liber Liber also has a large number of its own audio books it would be good to have recordings of books not in their catalogue.

What about an Italian gothic novel, like La Mano Tagliata by Matilde Serao? Published in 1912, available full text on Google Books - http://books.google.com/books?id=8i9JAAAAMAAJ&dq=la+mano+tagliata&source=gbs_navlinks_s. Is anyone interested? I'm relatively new here and I don't think I'm up to heading up a project or going solo yet.

Matilde Serao died in 1927, so her works should be public domain in most countries. However, using Google books can be a real pain for those not living in USA. However Project Gutenberg has the following titles:
