Hi guys,
I need the pronunciation of the phrase "affaires de coeur". I thought coeur would be pronounced with a k-sound, as the audio sample here: https://www.dictionary.com/browse/affaire-de-coeur
But, there are also plenty of audio samples that have no k-sound, but an n-sound instead, such as here: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/affaire%20de%20coeur
(even though the written pronunciation does include a k).
I think they might have just messed up the sound file (sounds like they're saying affaire d'honneur), but just to be sure, I'd love to hear a French speaker's thoughts! :D

In the second one, I also hear "affair d'honneur". The first one is the one to go, the C of coeur is not (never?) left out...

Kitty should be with you any minute though. :D

Thanks Ava, Sonia also chimed in in the relevant project thread, so indeed it was just a mess up on the part of Merriam Webster!
This is now solved!
