I need to pronounce the name "Tom Postnes," a professor of psychology. How do you pronounce "Postnes?"

Thank you very much,

Nan

Hello Nan,
Are you sure the name in the text is meant to be Dutch? "Postnes" doesn't sound really Dutch.
Or is it a real person - a quick google shows a Tom Postmes (with an m instead of n) as an actual professor in Groningen.

"Post" in Dutch is pronounced with a short "o", like in the English word "lock"
"nes" or "mes" would be fully pronounced, so like in the English ending of the word "happiness" or "mess".

Hope this helps.
