The book is about a band of pirates, "The Tigers of Mompracem", they're rebelling against British and Dutch colonialism. The leader is a Pirate named Sandokan, also known as "La Tigre di Malesia / The Tiger of Malaysia", whose entire family were killed by British colonists, they stole his throne and left him an orphan. Basically a tale of blood thirsty ravaging and piracy on the high seas - and very exciting.
It's actually part of a whole series of books, The Tigers of Mompracem, The Pirates of Malaysia, The Two Tigers, The King of The Sea, The Black Corsair, The Queen of The Caribbean and Son of the Red Corsair.
It's a shame that you can't use the source. I will look out to see if I can find another copy with no restrictions upon it. I don't understand how you can put restrictions on the text of a book, when the words are always the same, is that right? Surely the words don't change...
