Is there a character called 'Bartje' in Dutch books? I had a 'Bartje' puzzle that my aunt brought me from Holland. Of course it may not be PD.

Ik heb net een exemplaar van De Kleine Johannes gekocht en ik zat erover te denken om het voor te stellen als project. Ik heb er een eindje in gelezen en ik vind het voorlopig erg mooi.

My mom was asking about a poem by Flemish poet Alice Nahon with this line in it:
Het is goed in eigen hart te kyken des avonds voor het slapen gaan
I can't seem to find it online though she has a site here:

Had ik helemaal gemist, je suggestie! Dus een beetje laat antwoord... Helaas is Felix Timmermans niet mogelijk voor ons. Volgens de copyright regels in Nederland & Belgie (waaraan wij ook moeten voldoen) is zijn werk nog onder copyright tot 2018 (=70 jaar na zijn dood).
Dat is een gevaarlijk iets met dbnl: daar staan ook teksten op die nog onder copyright zijn, maar die ze blijkbaar met toestemming op het internet gezet hebben. (Je kunt het wel zien omdat er staat "copyright erven Felix Timmermans", maar dat moet je net even weten...).
