Hi, all.

I met an error. In short, wrong Samuel Butler.

England had two famous Samuel Butler's. The one was a poet in the 17th Century. The two was a novelist in the 19th Century, who was a translator of Homer's epics. Whereas LibriVox says the translator is the former.

The translators:

The error:
https://librivox.org/author/1305?primary_key=1305&search_category=author&search_page=1&search_form=get_results
viewtopic.php?f=28&t=80874
(I suggest the Version 3 isn't appropriate. Samuel Batler translation is clear.)

At a glance, I know his English is of the late 19th Century. 8-)

Thanks,

This seems indeed to be the case. And we do have both Samuel Butlers in the catalog, so I'll just ascribe this translation to the other one.

Thank you! :D
Cheers,
Ava.
