The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire Vol. VI
Edward GIBBON (1737 - 1794)

I don't understand what is meant by (1 web page)(2 web pages)(3 web pages)

There are, however, some portions missing from the recordings:

01 Chapter LIX: The Crusades Part I (2 web pages) Cori Samuel
00:06:30

omitted:
from
"I.Of the swarms that so closely trod in the footsteps of the first pilgrims, "
to the end of Part 1.

03 Chapter LIX: The Crusades Part III (3 web pages) Cori Samuel
00:13:43

omitted:
from
"The persons, the families, and estates of the pilgrims, were under the immediate protection of the popes; "
to the end of Part 3.

17 Chapter LXIV: Moguls, Ottoman Turks Part II (2 web pages) Anna Simon
00:22:25

omitted:
from
"While China, Syria, and Poland, were invaded at the same time by the Moguls and Tartars, "
to the end of Part 2.

Looks like it was a difficult text layout to handle. The only way we can fix it is if someone volunteers to read the missing segments.

Anna and Cori have been PM'd about this, and they're willing to record the missing portions. We're working on it. :)

Section 17 is uploading now.

For the record, Anna had a copy of the text she read from filed away, and it didn't have this text. I also notice that the PG text says it was last edited in 2012. This was cataloged in 2008. So it's quite possible that these passages were missing when the text was recorded.

Sections 1 and 3 have been replaced, times updated, readers on the catalog page updated.

The (1 web page) (2 web pages) etc. have been removed from the catalog page.

I think that takes care of this error report (aside from M4Bs, which our doughty Anne will no doubt fix). 8-)
