I'm guessing it's a problem with encoding. I have the original file and can re-encode if that would help.

Yeah, not sure how that happened. Very weird!

Your original file was 56:48, but this one is 1:01:50.

I could import it into Audacity and change the speed & pitch so that it's the same file length as before, but it would probably be just as easy for you to re-upload your copy. Would you send it over again? Upload to my folder, please.

Klaatu -the sample rate on your newly submitted file is incorrect. I'm guessing this is what was wrong with your previous file.

I think if you downsample your 48,000 Hz file down to 44,100 Hz, it'll slow it down and make your voice lower.

I'll fix this in Audacity and replace the file at Archive, but if you are planning on doing more recordings, you'll want to double check your project sample rate to make sure it's 44,100 Hz (or 44.1 kHz).
