Dear Librivox team,

I have a problem with the following information:

-Name of Book: The Watsons, foreword by Atkinson, Hesperus books.
-Chapter/Section Number: Between Part 2 and part 3
-File format (64kbps mp3, 128 kbps mp3, ogg vorbis): 64kbp mp3
-How you downloaded the file (individual download, zip download, ftp, podcast download): by zip download
-Nature of problem:

1. A chapter/segment/ fragment is missing, it is begins with "the next morning brought a great many visitors…………..Mr. Watson's infirm state of health.

2. Individual download is not working.

Thank you for your hard work,

Muna

Unfortunately, the online text used by the reader is no longer available, so we can't see if that section was included or not.

There is an alternative source in two parts, which does have the 1230 word section which is apparently missing:

Part 2: http://www.pemberley.com/janeinfo/watsons2.html
(Part 1: http://www.pemberley.com/janeinfo/watsons1.html )

I have PMed the reader. :)

Hi Muna and Ruth,

Thank you for letting me know about this - I'll put it on my To Do list and will look into it/fix it asap, but I'm quite busy with work right now and so it might be a couple of weeks. It won't be forgotten, though, and I'll post here again when it's done.

Should we ask for a volunteer to read the missing portion?

I have recorded the missing section and added it to the beginning of Section 3.
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/law/watsons_03_austen.mp3 15:42

My part runs from just after the intro to 7:20, plus I put a voice credit at the end of the file (it sounded weird when I stuck it onto Gesine's at the beginning).

I'll post for a PL'er and then substitute the file after it's been cleared.
ed. to add: PL request here: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=41831

If Gesine returns to record it herself, my section can be discarded, no problem at all. :)

ed. again: I am going to go ahead and change the text link on the catalog page, as the old one now goes to some kind of advertising page that is making my browser give me a virus warning.

x-posted: Hello, I just listened to the added parts in the file. Everything OK with the file

Working on replacing the file...

EDIT: File replaced, run times and file sizes fixed. I PM'd rf and Janette regarding their CD covers and will now post in the M4B thread to get that fixed. :)

Tricia, I was replacing the file at the same time...

I just fixed the catalog page myself. I wonder which file is there now :hmm:

Thanks very much for PL'ing, Rapunzelina!
