[RESOLVED] Meditations of Marcus Aurelius - quality issues

Chapters 8 and 9 of the Meditations are read very well. But the sound quality is a bit low, with a quiet buzzing/white noise throughout, and with the reader's voice sounding muffled and distant.

I'm not sure that this is an appropriate complaint, and I certainly would never cavil at the quality of a volunteer's reading voice. In this instance, though, the problem appears merely technical. Is there a more standardized way to register these observations?

Did he have the wavs? If not, I can try to improve the MP3 file.

No, he didn't. He re-recorded 8. It's here: http://upload.librivox.org/uploads/sj/meditations_08_marcusaurelius.mp3
I haven't had a response to my inquiries about section 9, so if you have time to work some magic, please go ahead, with my thanks.
(Look out, LV... Ruthie's on a clean-up mission this week.)

Thank you, Sarah. It appears to be identical to the original, though, so I will just have a go at that.

Here is Section 9: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/rg/meditations_09_marcusaurelius.mp3 now 32:38 as it had a bit of extraneous silence on both ends.

8 to follow, then if OK with you I will get them up on archive.
