I am informing on myself, since this was a track I recorded.

There's a problem with Track 3 of Boswell's Life of Johnson Vol 1 at 21.40-21.42ish when my voice is reading the end of one paragraph at the same time as it is also reading the start of the next. This was a very early recording for me (I'm still fairly new now) and I didn't understand Audacity, but it was picked up by the proof-listener (well done) and I uploaded a version with the tracks moved to the right places. I thought the problem was sorted. I don't have the Audacity files any more but I do still have the MP3 file so I can upload this again if you like or I can re-read the problem lines.

I also noticed I left a silence at the end quite a bit longer than 10 seconds.

My early recordings required amplifying.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help improve this track.

I am really excited to be part of a published book, by the way!

Andrew, if you fix the file (using the mp3 you have) and upload it to the (xx) project folder on the uploader, someone can fix the archived file for you.

I did some checking in the project thread. This problem was caught by Kehinde, the DPL, and Andrew corrected it. I think that somehow the corrected file did not get linked into the Window properly, so the original file was pulled into the validator.

The corrected file is still available, and I'm downloading it now. I'll spot check it, and if it's good, I'll go ahead and fix Archive later this evening.

Sorry to take so long to get around to fixing this, but the replacement file is uploading as I post this. As soon as it is up to Archive and the derivation process is finished, I'll post, and let someone double-check me.

Okay, both upload of the new file and derivation finished. Would someone be so kind as to double-check me and make sure I uploaded the right file?

Have listened to the 64kbps version from 20:30 to 23:00 and it's fine. Not time to check the other versions now - is there a need to?

Shouldn't be a need, as the 64k version is derived from the 128k mp3, as is the ogg, and the zip just contains the derived 64k files.. Thanks, RD! De-stickifying and marking as fixed.
