Mansfield Park, by Jane Austen

http://librivox.org/mansfield-park-by-jane-austen/

zip file of the entire book (463 MB)

When I tried to download it, it said the files were corrupted.

This happened twice in the evening of 17 July, 2008.

Since this has been Downloaded 125,999 times, I think it must be an archive.org glitch. Please try again. It is a huge download and if your connection had reset itself, it could cause a corrupt d/l.

The only other thing would be to try and d/l the individual files.

We do state this on the catalog page:
If you have troubles downloading files, please try again later, as archive.org occasionally has technical problems.
Thanks for listening!

Another option would be to use a podcatcher, such as Juice or iTunes, and download the files individually through the RSS feed.

One thing I did notice while working on an earlier problem report was that iTunes did report "Network connection timed out" on a number of files...but that with repeated attempts, I did eventually get all the files.

Archive doesn't really have enough bandwidth for everything it gets requests for, and Librivox is only a small part of what they offer. A large number of problem reports have been from folks trying to download the really big zip files, and somewhere in the transmission from Archive to the user, it gets corrupted. If you continue to have problems, let us know, and we'll do our best to help out.
