On Life, by Leo Tolstoy (1828 - 1910), translated by Mabel Cook and Agnes Cook

This project is now complete. All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/on-life-by-leo-tolstoy/
What is the "good life" for us mortal beings? Two months spent recovering from a severe injury allowed Tolstoy to develop and organise his thoughts on the subject. On Life is his philosophical answer where love, religion, and morality come together to ground us in reality. (Summary by Cao Yuqing)

Copy and paste the file link generated by the uploader into a new post in this thread along with the file duration (mm:ss). Watch this thread for prooflistening notes.

UPDATE 24/07/2022:
Your claimed sections should have a different number (previous number -1) now. This is to ensure that section numbers would match chapter numbers, something that should have been done at the start. And don't worry about sections that are READY FOR PL. We've made all the necessary changes.
tl; dr: Make sure to name your new recordings using the updated numbers according to the MW!

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! Just post in this thread.

I'll be glad to MC this. The MW is up. Hathitrust has a brighter scan of the same book, but I don't know if their full view access is restricted in some regions.

Thank you so much, Michael!
I'm afraid that version is unavailable where I am
